This beautiful three storey Georgian house has charm rather than grandeur and is comfortable and contemporary in a relaxed way.
On the upper floor is a guest bedroom, a bathroom and a third bedroom which the client uses as an office, yoga studio and craft room combined.
On the first floor of this quirky and characterful Georgian we designed a magnificent living room as well as the principal bedroom with en suite bathroom.
The ground floor of this Georgian cottage outside Bath is where the kitchen/dining room, ‘snug’ living room, utility and cloakroom are situated. After building work was completed, we redesigned all the rooms for this client.
You don’t need to live in a home with lots of traditional features to get the heritage meets contemporary look. Whether you’re in a Georgian townhouse or a modern bungalow, you can create a feature-filled yet contemporary home.
The modern take on the classic heritage style sees traditional elements – such as wall panelling, historic paint colours, patterned wallpaper and upholstered furniture, sitting alongside more contemporary pieces to create a blend of old meets new.
